Choose Your Agency

Before you apply, you will need to decide on a department you'd like to join. Different departments will cover different areas of the city - so it's important to choose the one that best fits your interests and career goals. You can also have a look at the Active Roster to see what roles the departments are currently offering.

Open Departments

The following departments are currently active and accepting new applicants for the KCDOJRP Law Enforcement program.

  • DPS (Department of Public Safety)

The Department of Public Safety will be the only available department until the server population justifies more units and LEO. Thank you for your understanding!

Please note that the DPS has access to uniforms & vehicles for all departments.

Learning Materials

We don't expect you to know everything before your training date, but knowing the basics will help you get a head start!
